Hi, I'm flat Erika and I'm visiting Karen. She is a United States Peace Corps Volunteer on the Eastern Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia. I will be an honorary Peace Corps Volunteer during my stay with Karen. This blog is intended to keep you up to date on my adventure, but does not express the views of the U.S. Peace Corps, or any other institutions named or linked to these pages.

I love you Jay. Please share with me.
ReplyDeleteFlat Erika.
Hi Flat Erika,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like being different hasn't stopped you from making friends on the island. Being different makes us all who we are. We just need to accept each other with all of our differences. So, I'm sure you're enjoying St. Lucia. What's been the most interesting thing you've observed that's different about life at home?
Kristi
Hi Flat Erika, I haven't met you before. I am Erika's sister. Well it's nice to meet you. Are you having fun with Karen? She's funny huh?I cant believe you're in college! Hows the weather out there? Is it hot or cold? Your uncles, Jay and Kevin, are coming to see you. You can hang out with them. CATION watch out for Jay likes to hug and kiss little girls. By the way I'm Autumn . You can call me Weezie if you want.
ReplyDeleteHi Weezie - It is nice to meet you. Kristie and Autumn, I have so much to tell you but it must wait until later tonight. I am very busy with Karen right now. We are at the Village Library preparing an exhibit for Saint Lucia's 30 Year Independence. In a couple of hours we are going to the airport to meet the new group of Peace Corps Trainees. I will answer your questions and tell you all about this later tonight. I miss you "Real 3D Erika"!
ReplyDeleteHi Weezie, I like hugs so it will be nice to see Jay, but thanks for the warning. The weather is very windy right now. At night the winds are about 55 miles per hour! It sounds like a dog howling through the village. It is also raining, but at the same time it is in the upper 70's so it is hot. It never gets cold enough to wear a sweater here. It stays hot because we are so close to the equator. Yes, I am having fun with Karen and you are right about her being funny! She is probably the funniest person I know.
ReplyDeleteHi Kristie - humm, there are a lot of interesting things about this island. People are very friendly and I am very safe in this village. Everyone knows where I live and they all look out for me. I learned a lot about Saint Lucian History and I think it is interesting. I will be telling you about that starting tonight. I knew you would support me even though I'm flat!
ReplyDeletewow,
ReplyDeletesounds like flat erika has been drinking the kool-aid mom!!! :) you're not that funny!!! :)
let it be known to: flat erika, mom, and autumn (aka weezie) - you are all getting big huggies when i see you next.
be prepared,
flat jay
